I think the United States is declining, similar to the Roman Empire. One of the main causes that led to Rome's fall was political corruption. The United States leaders aren't exactly doing what is best for the country right now, similar to how some of Rome's emperors only ruled for money and fame. Rome's fall was also due to the number of foreign wars that Rome was involved in. The United States has also been in a number of wars and has been dealing with a lot of terrorism. During the fall of Rome, the middle-class was destroyed because of the number of slaves working. Some people believe that immigrants are also taking jobs from America's middle-class and that the middle-class will fall due to that.
