Today we took more notes on Greece, more specifically, on the Dorians, Homer, and the Trojan War.
Trojan War
  • Trojan war was fought around 1200 BCE
  • Most historians assume it didn't happen because the Greek gods were involved
  • However, a real war did occur in Troy
Sea People & Dorians 
  • Dorians took over the land that the Myceneaens took over
  • All writing vanished for 300 years
Homer 
  • composed the Odyssey and Iliad 
  • possibly did not exist
