Christianity has around 2.2 billion followers. They are located predominantly in Europe, America's, and southern Africa. There are many denominations of Christianity, such as the Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and Protestants. The founder of the Christian Church is Jesus Christ and the holy book that they follow is the Bible. The Christian beliefs include that Jesus is the Son of God and that Jesus died and resurrected.

Islam has 1.5 billion followers called Muslims. Muslims are most predominantly located in Indonesia, the Middle East, and North Africa. There are two denominations of Islam, the Sunnis, and the Shiites. The founder of the Islamic faith is Muhhamed and the holy book that they follow is called the Qur'an. Islam is a monotheistic religion that follows the Five Pillars (testimony, prayer, alms-giving, fasting, and pilgrimage.)

Hinduism has 1.1 billion followers called Hindus. Hindus are located mainly in India and Nepal. The holy book that they follow is called the Vedas. There is no distinct leader of the Hindu faith because the religion is more a series of philosophical and intellectual beliefs instead of strict religion.

Buddhism has around 500 million to 1.5 billion followers called Buddhists. They are located predominantly in southeast Asia, China, Nepal, and Japan. The denominations of Buddhism are Tibetan, Theravada, and Amidst. The founder of Buddhism is Siddhartha Gautama. Buddhists follow the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path.

Judaism has 14-18 million followers called Jews. Jews are located mainly in Israel and the United States. The founder of Judaism is Abraham and the holy book that Jews follow is called the Torah. Jews believe that God is one, and concerned with the actions of human beings. Jews also follow the Ten Commandments and the 13 Principles of Faith.
